Days like these....
Its days like these that make you think of all that has been lost, things that we take for granted sometimes wither away without us realising it and we sit and wonder what exactly happened to it.
Its days like these that make us realise that some people really are in our lives for only a short while, so cherish every moment you have with someone, even if you just met them, they could be very instumental in your life, even if its just one piece of seemingly useless advice.

My Post Big walk words
Once the walk is long forgotten the pain lingers on. This year saw no toenail causalities that we know of but only a few shin splints (2 to be exact and they both mine!) Of course it wasn't my fault, I blame it on the lack of foot skating peeps (aka Debs and Skyla) who decided on the last minute to fade.
Other faders include Donna and Robs who promised to meet us at the finish line but never did:-(
To the folks that actually got up early to walk with, thanks! and for all those who in some way or another contributed to the vast amounts of jungle juice consumed, thanks a million
Big up to Special K and Joe who waited in the blistering heat for us for 3 hrs.
Last but not least THANKS MOM for a great pick up, and for tolerating us in our rather drunken states.
